A Guide to

VIDEOS FOR YOUR BUSINESS/BRAND

It's the 21st century, AI has written this for me, there are cats online with more followers than Sir David Attenborough, and you still don't know what type of video to use for your business?

Let's not say that out loud again. Casually scroll down, let's keep your business in the game.

VIDEO SERIES

Due to the nature of social media and video platforms such as YouTube and Vimeo, brand affinity marketing is on the rise. With brand affinity marketing, rather than making ad after ad hoping that viewers will interact with them each time, businesses have now started to invest in binge-worthy content. By nature, this encourages viewers to spend more time with your brand, and puts your brand on a more prominent platform.

This format would be ideal for industries such as; fitness, technology, construction, fashion, retail, food, agriculture, health, media, travel and tourism.

PROMOTIONAL

Promotional videos are ideal if you have a new product or service on the scene, or, if you want to promote your company in general.

These videos are a great way to introduce the product or service you are providing in a theme appropriate to your brand or your target audience. Many promo videos today are taking the shape of mini cinematic films, or music videos. Whatever the theme, story is key.

CASE STUDIES

Case study videos are a great way to show potential new customers how you have helped your previous customers/clients. In most cases these will include testimonials. They are a comprehensive look at your most successful products/services.

A case study video can be as amplified or as simple as you like, and in some cases, may depend on your target audience or even your industry.

For example, the fitness industry, may require a fast paced and exciting video to match the tone of your general audience. The technology or food industry may require a different approach.

However, the beauty of videos is that no industry is limited to a specific tone, and the right one is discovered through the eyes of your brand, your customers and your target audience.

'HOW TO' VIDEOS

If your business includes a service, or products that require certain skills or knowledge, why not share some tips with your audience? The old school way of business is keeping everyone else in the dark about HOW you do what you do, and hope that they trust you can do it.

The new school way is showcasing your skillset. People love information, but they're also not willing to commit to carrying it out themselves.

So share tips & tricks with your audience, they will watch your videos to do it themselves, be glad to have learned something new, become overwhelmed with the time and energy necessary to carry it out, know that you can do it, and then most likely pay you to do it instead.
